What can I expect from my first dental visit?

Your first dental visit will involve you filling out a new patient form to provide us with some information about your general health and dental health.
We do a thorough examination of your mouth including your jaw, lips, gums, tongue and teeth. If it has been a while since you have had dental x-rays we may take some to check for decay between your teeth.
We will often follow this with a thorough dental clean and fluoride treatment to protect your teeth.
At the end of the appointment we will discuss our findings and give you an estimate for any further treatment you may require.

If you attend with a specific problem we may postpone our examination and clean appointment for a later date so we can help deal with your problem sooner.
